Spain closes airports due to volcanic ash

Spain is closing down three airports located in the north-west of the country due to a new cloud of volcanic ash. This was reported in a statement by Eurocontrol on Friday. “The decision on temporary closure of airports is taken by national authorities in accordance with the new pan-European flight safety regulations” – ITAR-TASS quotes Eurocontrol as saying.
