The Russian team defeated Slovaks at the World Ice Hockey Championship in Germany 3:1. The goals were scored by Maxim Afinogenov, Alexander Ovechkin and Viktor Kozlov. Now Russia is scheduled to face Kazakhstan in Cologne, on 11 May.
