US President Barack Obama took off for Europe on Tuesday to visit Estonia and for a NATO summit in Wales dominated by the worst East-West crisis since the Cold War.
Obama lifted off from Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington for Tallinn, on a mission designed to reinforce US and NATO guarantees towards NATO members that were once in the Eastern bloc, following Moscow’s alleged intervention in Ukraine.
