EU to send special representative to Kyrgyzstan

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton expressed deep concern about the new unrest in Kyrgyzstan and is sending a special EU Emissary. The EU High Representative calls on the interim Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to “restore public order by lawful means and to urgently arrange a dialogue between the parties.
