Warm days and cold nights continue across Portugal

springSpring has sprung this week and according to the forecast by the Portuguese weather service, the increase in maximum temperatures already felt on Monday, when thermometers rose to between 18ºC and 25ºC, will be with us all week.

Despite the rise of daytime temperatures, the nights remain cold, between 5 and 10°C.

The IPMA comments that the difference between maximum and minimum temperatures means that when the sun sets and the night begins, the chill sets in very quickly.

The sky will be cloudy, clear in the Algarve, and by the end of the week, a weak wind will blow in the east of the country but in the North and Centre the wind will be moderate or temporarily strong.

Faro will be between 19 and 21 all week, sunny, with a slim chance of showers at the end of the week.

The east and west of the region will have marginally higher daytime temperatures, to 24°C but there is a low chance of rain across the Algarve.
