Simplified government services portal launched for Madeira residents

A new government service portal, ‘Simplifica,’ has been designed and launched to create a single point of contact for several public services, including citizenship, health and social security, culture and leisure, agriculture and the environment.

The new service allows citizens in Madeira to request documents, organise licences including driving licence renewal, and pay for goods and services via ATM, MBWay or credit card 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The site is straightforward to use but some of the functions may not be available immediately.
