Learn Dutch, taste delicious Dutch cuisine, join clubs and groups, make new connections, discover the secret to buying a house in the Netherlands and more, at one of the top events in Amsterdam.

If you are considering moving to the Netherlands, you are certainly not alone. In 2015 there were between 39,000 and 75,000 expats living here. In order to support internationals find their feet on Dutch soil, Expatica and "i am not a tourist" have been organising the Expat Fair for Internationals for 15 years. The annual event provides new-comers with the chance to learn more about living in this vibrant country.

Moving to Amsterdam or one of her sister cities

Whether you're a city slicker or a country bumpkin, the Netherlands has a lot to offer. The fair, held on Sunday 8 October, in the Beurs van Berlage, gives expats a taste of what's on offer to those who have chosen to relocate to one of the exciting Dutch cities or friendly neighbourhoods.

With 125 exhibitors, 10 themes, and on average 3,500 visitors, you can expect an informative and action-packed day with plenty of opportunities to mix and mingle with service providers, job agencies and recruiters, and fellow internationals.

Working in the Netherlands: Expat Fair

Something new

This year "i am not a tourist" will introduce something new. The theme for this year's event is called 'Jobs for Expats' and focuses on supporting expats who will be working in the Netherlands.

Designed with expats in mind, the fair organisers have invited a unique selection of recruitment agencies, employers and employment specialists to join them on Sunday 8 October, to provide expats with the information they need to enter the Dutch employment market with confidence.

Learn how to stand out in the crowd, re-write your CV for the Dutch market, use LinkedIn to get a job in the Netherlands, set up a business, learn the language, and much more.

Use the interactive event floorplan to navigate your way to the specially marked 'Jobs for Expats' stands and make the most of the free opportunity to introduce yourself to potential employers and, if you're feeling brave, seize the day and apply for a position!

Put a roof over your head, board a train, find companionship
