Shooting at restaurant on A4

AMSTERDAM – Police have reported one person dead after a shooting at the restaurant on the viaduct over the A4 in Hoofddorp.

At about 10.15 p.m. police received a report of shots being fired in the parking lot beside the Amsterdam-bound motorway. When the police arrived on the scene the male victim had already died as a result of his injuries.

The identity of the victim is not yet known. Nor could the spokesperson comment on what led to the shooting. The Forensic Investigation Team conducted an investigation of the scene.
