Child sex abuse scandal
A man has been arrested in Amsterdam for allegedly having sexually abused dozens of toddlers. Dutch police took the step after the authorities in Massachusetts detained a man who had 10,000 pornographic pictures and videos in his possession. The American discovered that some of the pictures had been taken in the Netherlands. This led to the arrest of the suspect, Robert Mikelsons, early last week.

Time Magazine has included a Dutch investion in its list of themost sensational inventions of 2010. Heleen Klopper invented the woolfiller. It’s a new way of filling holes in knitted or weaved sweaters, cardigans and coats. You put a bit of wool on a hole in your sweater. Using a special needle, you prick the wool until it sticks to your sweater. Since Time Magazine published news about Heleen’s invention, there has been a big increase in demand for her product.
