Wilders criticised for language in parliament

Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Verhagen has criticised the language used by Freedom Party PVV leader Geert Wilders in the Dutch parliament on Wednesday.

“If it was meant to be funny, he missed the mark,” he said. Mr Verhagen went on to explain it was up to the speaker of the house to decide whether Mr Wilders’ words were acceptable.

MPs from all sides of the house expressed dissatisfaction with Mr Wilders’ performance during the first day of the parliamentary debate on the budget.

The leaders of the Labour, Socialist, Green Left, D66 Democrat and Christian Union parties all objected during the debate to what they described as Mr Wilders’ lack of respect when talking about subjects including Islam and his fellow MPs.

Christian Democrat leader, Sybrand van Haersma said: “If you have freedom of speech, you’ve also got to have respect. I missed that in Mr Wilders.”

Quest : be glad for Wilders ; he says things the way they really are, instead of joining the politically correct club and soft-pedaling the unpleasant truth. The truth makes a lot of people uneasy and "offended" but it helps in the long run because it forces people to deal with the facts, and not some delusion. You should go aloing with Wilders because he's a lot motivated by concern for his own country, and putting her first. As far as I can tell, that's reasonable.

And Mr. Wilders is not "xenophobic " - neither is he a bigot, or a racist. Those are all handy words used by people who don't know the difference. He's a brave person who is standing up to freeloaders and religious fanatics who want to strangle feedom. Why do you need Islam ? You think they come to Holland to help you ? Don't kid yourself - they want to take advantyage of you and they hate anyone who is not an Allah worshiper. Don't be a fool--make up your mind : will it be a freedom fighter like Wilders or people who bring you an outdated religious lifestyle to your once beautiful country ? Get on the right side.

Wilders does not have respect for anyone but himself and other xenophobic cronnies. It's time to wise up and get rid of this idiot. He is making George W. Bush look brilliant.
