Third world title for Dutch swimmer Kromowidjojo

Ranomi Kromowidjojo has won her third gold medal during the final day of the World Short Course Swimming Championships 2010 in Dubai.

After the 100m freestyle and the 4 x 100m freestyle, the Dutch swimmer from the northern city of Groningen also beat all her opponents in the 50m freestyle in a time of 23.37 seconds, just a little slower compared to the world record 23.25 set by compatriot Marleen Veldhuis. Team mate Hinkelien Schreuder won the silver medal in a time of 23.81. Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace, from the Bahamas came third in 24.04.
