THE HAGUE – Multicultural institute Forum and development organisation Oxfam Novib are going to support women of ethnic background in the Netherlands who want to start their own business.

The two organisations announced this on Thursday.

Both organisations want to advise women on starting a business, or help them secure small loans. Oxfam has gained experience abroad with microfinancing.

Studies show that many starting entrepreneurs are not familiar enough with the regulations involved. Banks too are hesitant to give starters a loan.
