Hall of fame for Dutch baseball great

On Sunday, Bert Blyleven becomes the first Dutchman to get a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York in the USA.

The man himself, now 60 years old, will be in Cooperstown to receive the accolade, together with other non-US baseball great Roberto Alomar from Puerto Rico.

Blyleven played in the Major League for 22 years for five teams: Minnesota Twins, California Angels, Texas Rangers, Pittsburgh Pirates en Cleveland Indians. He was a celebrated pitcher and was twice on the winning side in the World Series.
