More than 10,000 objects belonging to former queen Juliana, from crockery to glasses and from paintings to chairs, will be on view at auction house Sotheby's in Amsterdam on Tuesday.

The objects are part of the inheritance of the former queen. Her daughters - Queen Beatrix, Princess Irene, Princess Margriet and Princess Christina will donate the proceeds of the auction to charity. "It is a royal clear up," says Sotheby's managing director Mark Grol.

People can bid for rare eighteenth century porselain crockery or a silver medal from 1516-1517, both valued somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 euros. But there are plenty of things that would not normally be sold at auction.
