15 November 2008
THE NETHERLANDS – A survey carried out by the National Coordinator for Counter-Terrorism and the Government Information Service has revealed that the Dutch are more worried about the economy than a terrorist attack.

The researchers say that 56 percent of those surveyed cited the economy as a cause for concern.

In 2007, the figure was 21 percent. Twelve percent said they were worried about terrorism in 2007; in 2008 the figure has dropped to just eight percent.
