Dutch civil servants who cycle to work can declare up to EUR 282 per month.

THE NETHERLANDS - The Dutch government has made it more attractive for public servants to travel to work by bike.

An estimated 123,000 government employees can declare up to EUR 282 a month in travel costs if they cycle to work.

The maximum for those who travel by car remains EUR 45. Those who travel by bike receive EUR 0.15 per kilometre while car drivers receive EUR 0.05.
