THE NETHERLANDS - Dutch criminals are using the internet more frequently to swindle people or extract information from them, according to the results of an investigation undertaken by the Ministry of Justice.

Internet fraud, the researchers say, represents a growing threat to Dutch society, especially from organised gangs who are heavily involved in this form of crime.

Apparently, these gangs are increasingly luring computer workers, graduates and young people with knowledge of computers to work for them.
