This morning's Dutch dailies are dominated by the trials and tribulations that the Christian Democrats are currently suffering; the coalition partner is under fire from some of its own MPs and many of its members over the expulsion of an 18-year-old Angolan asylum seeker and the latest opinion polls give it just 11 seats, an historic low.

"CDA teetering on the edge of freefall," writes Trouw on its front page underneath a photo of senior party members standing stiffly to attention while singing the national anthem.
