The personal details of around 700,000 customers of the Dutch travel site have been hacked.

The hacker used a known flaw in the website’s server to access addresses, passwords and passport numbers of customers from 2008 and 2009. The server had not installed the latest software which closes the loophole.

So far the hacker does not seem to have made use of the information. In fact he reported his discovery to IT journalist Brenno de Winter, who has dubbed this month 'Leaktober'. admits the site was hacked but says it has taken the system offline.
