Air France-KLM publishes monthly figures

The French-Dutch airline Air France-KLM has seen passenger traffic increase by 3.1 percent compared to October 2009. A total of 6.4 million people boarded a plane operated by Air France-KLM.

Capacity increased by one percent compared to the same period last year, boosting the load factor by 1.7 percent to 84.2 percent. In particular flights in and to Asia and to the Caribbean proved popular. Passenger traffic in Europe went up by 2.2 percent, despite the cancellation of 1,800 flights due to strikes. Freight traffic increased by 6.4 percent, with a 70.3 percent load factor, a 2.7 percent increase.
