Dutch literature evening, held in the Bibliotheek (Library) Den Haag on Thursday, 7th October 2010

The Dutch Language Union (Nederlandse Taalunie), a joint effort of the Netherlands and Belgium to promote Dutch language and literature, celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year.

We are pleased to announce an interesting evening especially for expats and other people living in the Netherlands.

We organise this evening together with the Library Den Haag and the Dutch and Flemish Literature Funds.


The theme of this evening is Dutch literature and it is held in the Bibliotheek (Library) Den Haag on Thursday, 7th October 2010.

Admission is free.

We are very proud that Mr Marcel Möring, a renowned Dutch author, is willing to talk about his writings and read from the English translations.

Marcel Möring

The renowned-Dutch author Marcel Möring will talk about his life and his writings and about the reception of Dutch literature in foreign countries. He will read from his work in English translation.


Möring’s books will be on sale and the author will sign books at the end of the lecture.

 
The evening is organised by: Bibliotheek Den Haag, Nederlandse Taalunie, Dutch Literature Fund
