The Dutch band the 3JS named after the three members: Jan Dulles, Jaap Kwakman en Jaap de Witte has failed to make it to the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest.

During the second half of the semi-finals on Thursday, the band from Volendam and its song missed getting in to the top ten of the 19 candidates.

Band member Jaap Kwakman twittered immediately afterward:

The ten countries which made it into Saturday's finals in Düsseldorf are: Estonia, Romania, Moldova, Ireland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Denmark Austria, Ukraine, Slovenia, and Sweden. They join Serbia, Lithuania, Greece, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Switzerland, Hungary, Finland, Russia and Iceland, the top ten from the first round of semi-finals on Tuesday.

Viewers cast their votes after the national professional juries - they voted during the rehearsals. The five-man strong Dutch jury included singer Mandy Huydts, singer Tim Douwsma, DJ Fred Siebelink and Buma Bureau of Musical Copyright Culture Director Frank Helmink.
