Your roleIn this role, you will work closely with our (international) Key Accounts to provide innovative co-engineering to improve their end product performance or production efficiency. You thrive for exceeding customer’s expectations by providing expert technical advice and take a systematic approach in ensuring a smooth introduction of new product packages. In addition to external customers, you will also support your colleagues at Fabory (EKAM, Sales, Purchasing) on (non-) assortment parts, mainly fasteners, for the fields of standardization, optimization of fastenings, fastener products compliancy, and product quality planning for example in the form of training and/or webinars. As a member of the Quality & Technology team you’ll be one of Fabory’s key fastening technology experts!In more detail, but not limited to, you will:Provide expert technical advice and communication in order to facilitate smooth introduction of new parts for Key Accounts according their technical specifications and quality requirements;Take initiatives for technical innovations and product development, improvements and standardization that help customers with excellent fastening solutions;Provide technical advice for national and international Key Accounts, based on specifications, application testing, calculations as applicable;Develop Technical training and webinars for internal and external relations;Assist in fastener compliancy declaration requests and product quality planning.As a successful Sr. Technical Application Engineer you should have:Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical engineering;3 – 5 year of relevant work experience (similar type of role) in a mechanical production environment, mechanical R&D, or fastener related business;Working fluency in Dutch and English languages, some skills in German or French will help you as well;A proven ability to read, understand and interpret technical reports, specifications, standards, test data in English.
