Then apply now We are looking for an analytical and solution-oriented student to become our next Digital Technology Intern in Haps, NL as of September 2021 You will be joining our Systems and Digital Team based in our Specialized Nutrition, infant nutrition factories in Haps, NL. This team is passionate about increasing the efficiency of the factory and office systems and technologies by providing technical and automation solutions. We are looking for an intern with a deep interest and knowledge of the latest digital technologies to support this team in their mission to increase overall factory production efficiency You will support the team by: Conducting research into the newest digital technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality and robotics. Gaining insight into the practical application of digital technologies to the factory setting by undertaking market research. Identifying factory inefficiencies such as time loss by direct field observation. Finding concrete digital solutions to apply to factory processes and systems. Communicating and presenting your findings to various stakeholders within the factory. On top of this you will: Gain a deep understanding of factory processes by directly observing the production lines. Understand how technical and digital insight is implemented within an industrial setting. You are a Bachelor/Master student in Industrial engineering, robotic engineering, digital engineering or any other related studies with a strong interest in the latest developments in digital technology. You have strong analytical skills and are technology-driven. You are confident working autonomously in a complex work environment, think proactively and innovatively and not afraid to communicate with different stakeholders. You are a solution-oriented person , thriving in an environment where you can solve problems. Furthermore, you are willing and ready to learn with a ‘can-do’ mindset. Knowledge and experience in AR, VR and robotics is considered a strong plus. Next to this, there are a few eligibility requirements : Enrolled as a Bachelor or Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university). You can start as of September 2021 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days a week . You are fluent in English – written and spoken; Dutch language is a plus. You are able to work in Haps, the Netherlands if the current COVID-19 situation allows us to go back to the office. Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN (Dutch social security number).
