Then apply now We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented student to become our next Internal Control Intern in Zoetermeer (NL), starting in September 2021. As our new Internal Control Intern you will be part of the Cluster Business Services (CBS) Finance team working for the Benelux. This team focuses on providing business services for transactional finance and expert activities to all business units in the Benelux. These activities include Financial Control, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury & Financing, Tax and Internal Control. We are looking for a talented intern to support the Internal Control team with day-to-day activities and projects. Throughout your internship you will have the following responsibilities: Ensure the internal Segregation of Duties (SoD) policy is applied by performing authorization reviews of users, resolving conflicts identified and/or making sure that appropriate mitigation controls are in place; and proactively finding ways to improve our policy and procedure; Test internal controls to confirm process efficiency and compliance; and support in our reporting to Management; Evaluate and analyze data in systems and processes for improvement purposes, in line with internal policies and Internal Control framework; Communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders (e.g. business groups cross-entities); Maintain IC/SoD knowledge, through good internal documentation of best practices and common issues. We are looking for a HBO/Bachelor/Master student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Business Information Management/IT or a related subject with strong analytical skills in Excel . You have the affinity for IT processes and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and are eager to learn more about this field. You are able to use and analyze data in spreadsheets. You are an open and enthusiastic person who is able to communicate the data analysis by connecting factories and business units. Also, you have an eye for detail and are not afraid to proactively reach out to people when necessary. You are an organized and results-oriented person and able to work in autonomy. You are defined as self-starter and team-player with a 'Can do' mindset. Knowledge of SAP and previous relevant internship/work experience will be considered as a plus. Next to this, there are a few eligibility requirements : Enrolled as a HBO/Bachelor/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university); You can start as of September for 5/ 6 months, 4 to 5 days a week ; You are fluent in English – written and spoken; You are able to work in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.
