The Associate Project Manager lies within the International Zone Supply Chain Development team. You'll be working in a high performing team- alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You'll be reporting into the Supply Chain Development Lead. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The associate project manager will work within our Taste Elevation category delivering projects identified in Taste Elevation strategy to achieve our growth and profit ambitions. The role is critical to the development and implementation of marketing and supply chain strategies with a primary responsibility for the implementation of category projects. It will also involve leading related feasibility activities as part of the end to end ownership of the “Idea to Execution” process. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of Marketing- R&D- S&OP- Operations- Procurement- Finance etc. and have regular consultation to create an optimal mix between Project Management and Commercial / Operations responsibilities and deliverables. In brief- you will be responsible for; Project Delivery – From Idea to Shelf Lead innovation & renovation projects on-time-in-full and in line with IPM and gate-keeping guidelines- including effective troubleshooting- issue management- risk management and escalation throughout (from idea to shelf) Lead Supply Chain projects; upgrade of capability or increase in capacity Take full accountability for the supply chain execution elements of the local innovation programme Ensure that the supply chain operational set-up of each innovation is designed in such a way as to safe-guard the right customer fill rate (CFR) after launch & launch strategy trade-offs (service/obsoletes/costs) Work with local and regional supply chain teams- procurement- marketing and R&D as required to ensure the SC Design for each innovation (FG- materials- 3PM- stocks- capacity- etc) can deliver an agreed level of responsiveness in the marketplace (either at launch or later on once the innovation is proven to be successful) Be the custodian and ensure compliance to the SC elements of the local innovation project management (IPM) and gate keeping process- holding both own team but also all other cross-functional partners accountable with regards to anything that impacts performance and KPIs negatively during a project Manage stakeholders & keep key sponsors informed on project progress Portfolio- Simplification- Complexity Facilitate/Support complexity reduction at design stage through collaborating with R&D- SC and Marketing Strategic influencing on local innovation SKU TO and supply chain thresholds- cutting the portfolio tail to reduce complexity and 1 in – 1-out approach to innovation to keep the innovation portfolio in good shape Ops Cost and Cash Reduction Drive the lowest possible E2E total delivered supply chain cost- stocks and CapEx for each project- by looking at the full product lifecycle and mitigating the cost of innovation failure (e.g. excess stocks and/or obsoletes of FG and RPMs) Qualifications Hard Skills “Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.” Bachelor or Master degree; 0-5 year of experience in a relevant area Business processes Strong communicator with the ability to engage stake-holders at all levels of the organization.
