At Expatica ‘working with pleasure’ is one of our most important goals. We are looking for a highly energetic and proactive professional to join our ambitious team working in an international environment as an Sales Operations Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing clients’ advertising campaigns from inception to completion. She/he will be reporting to the Sales Manager and working closely with the sales team and the editorial team and clients to ensure delivery and optimization of campaigns. She/he serves as the first point of contact for clients in respect to technical and organizational aspects of the services booked.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Check incoming contracts
  • Liaise with internal colleagues involved (Social Media/Editorial) to ensure all parts of the contract are executed correctly and on time
  • Deal with all operational questions from clients by phone and email
  • Create and send out newsletters via Mailchimp
  • Create Listings for clients
  • Support Sales Team
  • Updating events in CMS (content management system)
  • Quality check on newsletters
  • Publish articles
  • Select images for articles
  • Adapting headlines, introductions and articles to be SEO effective
  • Update articles
  • Support and help managing editor

The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in some or all of the following skills:

  • Knowledge of online media
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • A focused customer friendly approach
  • Experience in similar position (preferable)
  • Proactive and perseverant, with a hands-on mentality
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a (remote) team
  • Knowledge of working in a CMS
  • Eager to please
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

The role will be based at our head office in Haarlem.


For a part-time position of 12 hours a week. The new team member will receive a salary depending their experience and skill set.
