Dutch police request Radio Netherlands’ assistance

The Dutch police have asked Radio Netherlands to help ask for assistance to trace a vehicle involved in an extremely violent robbery early on Wednesday morning.

The robbers blew a hole in the wall of money transport company Brinks in Amsterdam and used machine guns to keep the police at bay. A 240-km-per-hour car chase down the A2 motorway followed, until the police gave up near Eindhoven fearing they were being led into an ambush.

The Dutch international service has been asked to broadcast requests to keep an eye out for the silver grey Hyundai i 10 number plate 31 PFH 6. The vehicle is believed to be in Belgium or France.

The Dutch international service will cease to exist in the future as the result of severe government cuts.
