Senior Funds Accounting Analyst – CDI SUMMARY A Senior Funds Accounting Analyst will be involved in the day to day life of a variety of funds of diverse complexity. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Advisory on the application of International Financial Reporting Standards; Maintenance of general ledgers, sub ledgers and trial balances for multiple international fund clients, according to various accounting standards (typically IFRS) ensuring completeness, accuracy and consistency; Periodic Net Asset Value calculations, including valuation of the funds’ assets, accrual bookings, various reconciliations and fee calculations; Analysis, processing and control of financial products: equities, hedge funds, derivatives (CFDs, Swaps, Forwards, Futures), bonds; Liaising with funds prime brokers; Preparation of annual Financial statements including notes, under relevant GAAP (IFRS) on an annual basis; Providing support to external Auditors; Assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Manager/Director and work on projects. PROFILE BAC+3 degree required, preferably in Accounting or Audit; Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably working experience on IFRS; Solution-oriented mindset, capable to access different situations and propose solutions; Knowledge of financial instruments such as Bonds, Stocks and OTC or Term Derivatives (Forwards, Swaps, Futures, Options, CFDs, etc.); Previous funds related experience considered a plus; Fluent in English, any other European language will be considered an asset; Good knowledge of MS Office tools, mainly Excel spreadsheets; PERSONAL QUALITIES Eager to learn, autonomous, organized; Good analytical skills; Good attention to detail; Open to cross-cultural environment; Good communication skills – verbal and written; …
