The Opportunity: This role is newly created and will be the pivotal function at the heart of the business’s delivery. Acting as a lead interlocutor for institutional clients (including Depositary Bank clients) providing end to end support for operational topics and for the management of internal and, if applicable, external parties relationships such as Administrators, Auditors, Asset Managers. The incumbent will demonstrate sound CRM expertise in a similar context and will have the maturity and gravitas to take center stage in the rollout and development of this growing business line. The Role – Key deliverables: · Focus on building a long-term and highly reputable brand, ensuring our organization is associated with excellence and identified as best-in-class B2B partner offering proactive , innovative and leading services to the EU Institutional and B2B space. · Develop and promote a customer-centric approach, and display confidence in your own abilities to provide value to clients. · Understand, identify and meet the client’s needs beyond the services contractually agreed or specifically requested by considering their overall needs and objectives. · As such, act as a day-to-day contact for our customers, ensure follow-up and delivery of their complex queries and strengthen cooperation with them. At the same time you ensure the accurate and timely processing of instructions covering all custody operations. · Liaise with internal and external counterparts and stakeholders (e.g. internal operations areas and other service providers, fund administrators, transfer agents, correspondent banks) supporting the follow-up of trading operations, pre-trade compliance, post-trade activities, KYC requirements, unmatched instructions, corporate actions and execute payment transactions. · Oversee account maintenance, investment restrictions and investigate cash and securities account differences. · Promote cross-selling opportunities by offering and ensuring awareness of the ever-growing SQE’s products and services, leading to further Client developments. · The role also includes quality assurance responsibilities and provide additional support and input to Bank initiatives as requested and in cooperation with other functional areas. Knowledge and expertise: · Understanding of the regulations applicable to pension funds, insurance companies, investment funds, external asset managers, family offices, investment firms, securitization vehicles and other corporate client · Knowledge of AIMFD/UCITS EU Regulation · Understanding of Depositary Bank related tasks and risks / responsibilities · Understand the value chain and know the role and responsibilities of the entities and service providers involved in the fund structure · Know market infrastructure functioning and rules, brokerage, custody legislation and world markets integrity rules · Knowledge of AML/ATF Policy and EU Regulation · Know the regulatory environment and associated risks that require managing · Understanding of Investment products, asset classes’ characteristics, applications and implications Person Profile: · +/- 8 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry with significant experience in the investment fund business (Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Management Company), the market infrastructure and back office operations · You will have had some years of experience within a similar client Relationship role · You will be solution driven, pragmatic and client centric. · Fluency in English – French or other Eurpoean language an advantage Greenfield is a leading Luxembourg based Recruitment and Executive Search Consultancy and has…
