At Group level, for our headquarters in Wiltz, Luxembourg we are recruiting a Group Regulatory Officer M/F. Part of the Technical & Quality Cell, the main role is to organize the regulatory management within UNITED CAPS and support UNITED CAPS Teams & Plants when needed. The Group Regulatory Officer will have to update and maintain an efficient regulatory system concerning raw materials and provide support within the group quality coordination. Reporting to the Technical and Quality Cell Manager, the GRO will be in charge of the following responsibilities: Be an expert on regulatory matters and support TQC & UC Plants Be the link with the raw materials suppliers for all topics concerning food compliance. Investigate pro-actively upcoming legislations changes Propose solution & action plan to reply to the relevant legislation Organize technology watch on regulatory (legislations, conference,…) Support development & quality organization that match the expectations of the customer in terms of reliability, food safety, regulatory and legislations performance Perform training to spread knowledge and understanding of the food safety legislations Specific assignments : Manage regulatory affairs for raw materials Follow food contact compliances for raw materials & finished products Ensure that all the documentation is available Communicate relevant information about regulatory management Edit UNITED CAPS position on regulatory matters Transfer knowledge to the Plant and spread best practices – organize training if needed Launch & follow external laboratories testing (NIAS, migration, recycled,.. ) Perform internal audits concerning hygiene and OCS (Group Quality Coordination) Participate actively to the implementation of IT-tools supporting Group Quality Coordination Support actions related to group quality coordination Ensure technology watch by participating to conferences, specific literature review,… Contribute to keep United Caps leader and propose improvement solutions. Actions are supported by regular edition of reports that will permit the capitalization of knowledge and information sharing Can be asked to represent the TQC for other topics that the ones that are mentioned above Profile Higher degree in science (biology, chemistry…) is preferred Prior experience in industry is required, and in regulatory management (food/food contact) Knowledges of quality systems ISO 14001 and BRC Rigorous, great motivational and communication skills English (technical) is required Travelling is part of the function (regulatory and internal audit) Teamwork …
