Job description: Your career at Deutsche Börse Group Your area of work: Governmental Relations & Political Affairs deals with changes in the political and regulatory environment and their impact on Deutsche Börse Group. The department accompanies and coordinates political processes for Deutsche Börse Group, plans and coordinates lobbying and political communication and prepares strategic papers and briefings for Deutsche Börse Group’s decision-makers. The department provides timely information on new political and regulatory initiatives, advises the business areas on positioning at political meetings and ensures the political communication of Deutsche Börse Group’s positions to the outside world. Your responsibilities: Monitoring of current political and regulatory developments at global, European and regional level, in particular with focus on Luxembourg. Supporting the coordination of association memberships and activities Supporting the coordination of the Government Relations & Political Affairs team, at global, European and local level Preparation of briefing documents, short assessments as well as political factsheets Possible travel in relation with representation activities Support in the organisation of political events Support in the development of communication strategies and their implementation Required profile: Bachelor’s degree or higher university studies in law, political science, economics or other related social sciences. First experience in the field of political advocacy or political work at regional, national, European and/or international level, ideally in relation with the Finance industry Sound knowledge of political institutions as well as legislative and regulatory processes at global and regional level, especially in Europe and Luxembourg Understanding of global and European and financial market policy as well as current regulatory projects Understanding of the financial market infrastructures and related players in the EU and global financial landscape Ability to present complex issues in an efficient, concise and clear manner Very good command of written and spoken English is imperative. Language skills in other European official languages are an advantage – especially German and French.
