Marguerite Investment Management S.A. intends to add an Asset Management Analyst to its growing team based in Luxembourg. The analyst will develop his/her skills and gain exposure in key areas of alternative fund administration and financial controlling. The position not only covers oversight of daily funds operations, but also all the Luxembourg aspects of the asset management, including fund management and reporting. Company Marguerite, established in 2010 with offices in Luxembourg and Paris, is an alternative investment fund manager licensed in Luxembourg. It is independently owned by its partners and manages three investment funds: Marguerite Fund, a EUR 710m infrastructure fund raised in 2010 and now fully invested across 20 investments; Marguerite Pantheon SCSp, an investment vehicle owning stakes in renewables and transport assets in Europe; and Marguerite II SCSp, a EUR 745m infrastructure fund raised in 2017 with commitments from EIB, KfW, CDC, CDP, BGK, and ICO. Marguerite III SCSp, a newly close fund with a EUR 1bn target. Investments are made in the areas of renewable energy, telecommunication, transport and ICT. Tasks Compilation of the financial data from the investment team and/or portfolio CFOs Reconciliation of Fund Accounting, Registrar and Transfer Agent, and Depositary data Help with the preparation of capital call and distribution notices for investors Support in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows Support in cash management and treasury Coordination of the reporting process with 3rd party service providers Coordination work with the Risk & Compliance teams on group requests Required Education, Experience & Skills Strong academic background (Master level) with degree providing good knowledge of finance and accounting. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the area of the asset management/ investment funds industry Expertise and technical knowledge of IFRS and LUX GAAP accounting Fluent (written and spoken) English is a must; French, German, or any other European languages will be an advantage Financial analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail / efficiency orientated Proactive hands on mentality / can-do attitude / inquisitive and self-motivated Other: Full-time Contract Location: Luxembourg Compensation: competitive remuneration package…
