Tasks with responsibility

• As a product manager, you will be responsible for our existing software product portfolio around our digital brand Schenck ONE with the goal of further developing it functionally and in terms of the market
• You will continuously develop the Schenck software vision and strategy in collaboration with Business Development
• You define and control the roadmap for the various software products in close coordination with the product management of the various machine product lines and Business Development
• You are the interface to the Schenck Digital Factory and hand over clear requirements to the product owners of our development teams
• You communicate results and strategies through presentations and analysis to internal and external stakeholders (customers, partners, management)

Your characteristics

• Completed university studies (industrial engineering or computer science, mechanical engineering, economics related courses) or many years of practical experience in industry – in group or start-up
• You have technical understanding and know the requirements of mechanical and plant engineering and its customers for production-related machine software
• You have a broad know-how in software product management, requirements management and lifecycle management
• You have already gained experience on Industrie 4.0 or IIoT business models and bring this knowledge
• You think entrepreneurially and have a feel for economic trends and influences
• You already have experience with modern, digital product development processes and are familiar with working in agile teams and organizations
• You have strong teamwork and communication skills in negotiations with customers or partners, are assertive, innovative and curious
