Employer Website Job Posting Senior Financial Analyst (VF Outdoor, LLC, Costa Mesa, CA): Provide the monthly profit and loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet forecast process for the US Wholesale Business. Perform periodic financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. Analyze business reports, identify trends, and report on findings, including making recommendations to business partners. Partner across the organization to align on required changes and ensure they are accurately reflected in the monthly submission. Coordinate the consolidation and load of North America Financials. Prepare the Annual Operating Plan and support the Strategic Planning cycle. Deliver actionable and timely ad-hoc analysis and reporting to help drive informed decision making. Support North America and Global Operations teams. Streamline reporting and planning processes. Develop enhanced analytics to drive root cause understanding of key business drivers and trends. Partner with Accounting team on month-end close, review general ledger accounts, prepare reclass and accrual journal entries as necessary. Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and 5 years of work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis at a publicly traded Consumer Goods company. Employer will accept an additional 2 years of work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis a publicly traded Consumer Goods company in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Analyzing and creating business reports in Excel using large quantities of data (100,000+ rows), identifying trends, and synthesizing and reporting on findings in Executive-level summaries, including making recommendations to senior leadership to drive financially optimal decisions aligned with the business’ strategic objectives; Publishing monthly and quarterly reporting related to business, including Product Revenue and Margin, Wholesale Customer P&Ls, Expense Reporting, Wholesale Account Trends, Wholesale Customer Revenue, Balance Sheet Summaries, and Inventory Days; Utilizing Excel and PowerPoint usage, including macros, Pivot Tables, vlookup/hlookup, and SUMIF(S) to problem solve data and report limitations and create dynamic financial models; Providing monthly profit and loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet forecast; Performing periodic financial planning, forecasting, and reporting; Utilizing COGNOS; Utilizing SAP BPC for reporting; and Utilizing SAP ERP to extract financial information to analyze financial performance.
