Job Description

In a context of strong growth within a competitive environment, you will be responsible for driving sales and growth within our existing markets (France, Germany and Spain). As Manager Sales you will have quota responsibility for both the Large and International accounts within those markets.

You will manage a team of quota-carrying salespeople covering both French market and international sales. Reporting into the VP Sales, you will have shared responsibility for developing Expensya’s presence in the region partnering with our growth and marketing teams to develop and deliver the sales strategy. Your will own the recruiting, training and ramping new staff, prospecting, forecasting, pipeline management, and supporting deal closure. Additionally you will be required to represent Expensya at local events.

Define and deploy a sales strategy according to the quarterly and annual commercial objectives set by the company

Ensure the productivity and profitability of the sales team in compliance with the expected KPIs

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the market and the competition

Monitoring of team performance

  • Organization of weekly follow-up points by team and individual

Ensure timely updating of the commercial pipeline

Guarantee a culture of feedback and participate in the continuous training & coaching of the team

  • Ensure reporting and corrective actions

Participate in recruitment


  • Develop and optimize existing processes and communications;

Ensure sales forecasts and follow-up

Preferred Experience

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Extensive skills in software sales including both transactional sales and strategic selling

  • Strong leadership skills : be a strong recruiter and motivator of people and a great team player

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English. Third language would be a plus (German or Spanish)

Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful

Experience with business intelligence, analytics, data, or databases

Proven interpersonal skills with intellectual curiosity, coaching mindset, active listening and pedagogy/diplomacy
