Your Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks
- Troubleshooting system and network problems
- Provide 1st line support to employees or customers in compliance with agreed deadlines, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Prioritization of open (pre-)cases
- Updating documentation and our records on policies and procedures and providing relevant reports to IT management
- Managing (email) users in enterprise systems – including resolving password issues
- Ensuring that all computer systems at your responsible location are secured
- Testing and evaluation of, as well as support for the introduction of new technologies
Your profile
- Expertise in virtualization software and virtual desktop technology (Citrix), as well as in a range of diagnostic programs
- Networking skills, including switches, routers and WIFI
- Experience working with desktop operating systems such as Windows OS, Linux and macOS
- Good basic understanding of operating systems, computer and server hardware, and SAN and networks
- Extensive experience in user support as well as in creating understandable and quickly graspable documentation
- Proficiency in written and spoken business English combined with good written and verbal communication skills
- Very good interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building as well as empathy and ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Conceptual and pragmatic mindset
- Team player (m/f/d) with a customer-oriented and proactive approach to work
