IT Service Desk/Support Associate* Full-time. Permanent. Effective immediately.

What to expect

  • Responsibility for the internal service desk (contact person for international employees for hardware and software issues)
  • Processing of requests via ticket system, including documentation of solutions
  • Purchasing, inventory and maintenance of IT assets (hardware and software)
  • License management (purchase, allocation, renewal, termination)
  • Setup, maintenance and backup of workstation systems
  • Advising departments on the use of internal IT systems (e.g. intranet, e-mail, chat and video systems)
  • Support of the telephone system, conference systems and technical equipment of the meeting rooms
  • Possibility to work 1 day / week from the home office

What you bring to the table

  • Successfully completed training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience with basic commercial understanding and experience in professional customer service
  • Practical knowledge in the administration of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Windows Active Directory, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, virtualization systems, Red Hat OpenShift and Linux Server
  • Strong service orientation, strong communication skills, intercultural open-mindedness and good manners
  • Independent approach to work, reliability, loyalty and high trustworthiness
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English absolutely necessary
