The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for achieving / over achieving the expected business results and for developing a tactical plan -aligned with the regional and local management teams- to drive future profitable growth and sustainable revenues. She/he applies analysis and understanding of the market trends, competitor activities and drivers of business success to execute the overall AWC sales strategy .She/He must effectively lead, motivate, develop and coach the Inside sales representatives, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that all targets and agreed activities are in adherence to the agreed plans, processes and key Performance Indicators. The Inside Sales manager oversees teams in multiple countries , fosters a culture of high performance and ensures the full usage of the company tools and the observance of the company´s processes and guidelines. Committed to ConvaTec´s mission, values and strategic priorities, the Inside sales manager is driving and initiating the development of sales, managing the full range of solutions on selected accounts as well as the qualification of new business opportunities, via the lead qualification process. She/He develops a strong collaboration with multiple internal & external stakeholders in order to create long lasting partnerships with customers by helping them to succeed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drives team performance to meet/exceed set targets
  • Develops growth of the AWC portfolio through the roll out of commercial activities and tactical plans; overseeing their successful implementation within the areas of responsibility
  • Manages successfully the lead qualification process : plans the resources , monitors the activities, communicates the outcomes in order to generate opportunities for new business
  • Collaborates with colleagues across the organization ( sales, SFE, marketing, finance, HR , regulatory, customer service etc) to manage the alignment of the goals and on the priorities. Ensures the appropriate communication & feedback is provided between departments
  • Develops a strong knowledge of the market, competitors, products and price offers in order to be more competitive and strategic
  • Sets, monitors and delivers on the territory & account planning / action plans by analysing performance in order to identify the needs and consequently implement actions to achieve the agreed goals
  • Shares best practise in his/her teams and should keep up to date with the best in class inside sales practises, adopted in the market
  • Drives continuous improvement : identifies gaps and opportunities in processes and seeks to improve them by enhancing activities that will generate the most value for the customer, while removing as many waste activities as possible
  • Forecasts accurately and on time
  • Demonstrates compliance with all regulatory, clinical, industry and company´s guidelines

Language Skills Required

  • Language: Either fluent in French or Spanish but English is a Must, plus an excellent command (written & verbal) of at least one of the local languages of the area of responsibility

Essential skills & competences

  • Proven Solution selling skills, ability to manage the complete sales cycle ( including the opportunity management)
  • Has a passion for remote sales and for Inside sales
  • Highly competent at hiring, training, leading, managing , motivating and coaching people remotely in order to drive the team´s performance to achieve the set targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate at all business levels
  • Aligns constantly with the management teams in area of responsibility to ensure cohesiveness and consistency of the set strategy
  • Drives a customer focus mindset across their team and sees this as a key source of competitive advantage
  • Synthesises and integrates data from multiple sources to arrive at conclusions that serve as the basis for management decisions and actions-
