New car sales are down 3.6pc for March

MADRID-Sales of new cars in Spain fell 3.6 percent in March compared with the same month a year earlier, totaling 149,262 vehicles, the National Association of Automakers said.
 
During the first quarter of this year, car registrations fell back 0.1 percent compared with the same period of 2004, the association said in a statement.
