Beckham in internet hunt for next nanny

4 April 2005

MADRID-Real Madrid star David Beckham and his pop star wife Victoria Adams have advertised for an English-speaking nanny to look after baby Cruz.

The British daily The Sun reported how Beckham and Adams placed an advert on the internet for a new nanny.

The England captain, 29, and Victoria have been swamped by hundreds of applicants for the EUR 700-a-week post after their last nanny Abigail Gibson quit in an alleged row with Adams.

The couple are so desperate to replace their former nanny they took on an agency, which put an advert on the website www.nannyjob.co.uk.

The on-line description reads: “Very high profile celebrity family require professional nanny for three boys.

“Nanny must be very flexible and willing to travel — mostly to Spain.

“Confidentiality and discretion is a must with this position. Nanny must have a minimum of five years experience.”
