Two people died and another two were seriosuly injured Wednesday in a fire at a refinery in southern Spain run by oil firm Cepsa, the Spanish company said.

The body of one of the victims was found at the refinery at Palos de la Frontera while the second victim died at a hospital in Seville where he was taken with burns to 95 percent of his body.

Two other employees of the refinery who were injured in the fire are at a hospital in nearby Huelva with serious burns. Their condition was described as "serious but stable".

The fire, which has already been brought under control, broke out for yet to be determined reasons in the area of the refinery where the tanks of oil are stored.

"The company has ordered a study to determine the causes of the incident," Cepsa said in a statement.
