MADRID -- Police arrested three men accused of murdering Madrid-based DJ Cocó Ciëlo, who was found dead in his apartment in September. Ciëlo, who was originally from Peru and whose real name was José Luis Revilla, was discovered by his boyfriend with his hands tied in a pool of his own blood on 28 September.
Police investigations reveal that the DJ entered his home in the early hours of 28 September, accompanied by a Romanian man he met that night. The man then invited another Romanian up to the residence.

The pair planned on robbing Ciëlo, and confessed to hitting him over the head with a bottle, leaving him unconscious, before stealing cash, his watch and a ring. The men say they did not mean to kill Ciëlo.
Police first arrested another Romanian man, a mutual friend of Ciëlo and the alleged attackers, for failing to inform authorities of his knowledge of the crime, before arresting the attackers in Barcelona.
