MADRID - A sizeable team of Finnish psychiatrists, medics and forensic experts have arrived in Málaga to treat victims and assist Civil Guard authorities in the identification of nine Finns who died Saturday when an SUV crashed into a tourist bus, causing it to overturn.

Thirteen victims of the crash are still hospitalised. A spokeswoman for Carlos Haya hospital in Málaga said Monday that one middle-aged woman remained in a critical condition.

Hannu Honkkila, a Lutheran Church pastor, told El Pais that the response from Finnish authorities has been rapid.

"After the accident, the Finnish Red Cross sent a team of nine psychologists, two medics, representatives of the Foreign Ministry and forensic experts to assist the victims [and authorities]," he said. "We have 15 volunteers who are assisting victims as well."
