Spain will adopt the European Parliament’s new regulation and legalise the cultivation of insects for human consumption, ministry of health sources suggest.
Chowing down on crunchy critters is nutritious, healthy and good for the environment, the UN has reported.
The law is set to come into effect next year, but tapas bars may wait a while before putting Beetles Bravas on the menu.
