CADIZ — One woman was killed and seven seriously injured on Monday after a gas canister blew up in a restaurant.
The explosion happened at the ‘Cuatro Vientos’ restaurant in Chiclana de la Frontera, in Cadiz.
The restaurant was closed for a day off.
But the woman who died and the other injured people were in a next-door restaurant called Bar Farito.
One of the injured was taken to the Hospital Puerta del Mar de Cádiz and the others were rushed to the Hospital Clínico de Puerto Real in Cadiz.
The blast happened at around midday.
So far no details of the dead woman have been released.
