CASTELLON — A six-year-old girl was seriously ill in hospital on Thursday after falling from a flat after reaching for a Father Christmas model.
The girl had tried to reach the model which was hanging from the side of the flat in Castellon, north east Spain.
The accident happened while the girl’s mother had left her alone in the house when she went to collect her younger brother from the nursery.
The girl suffered serious head injuries after falling from a fifth-floor flat.
Doctors said her condition was ‘very serious’.
