On 5 and 6 November, Kaffee Burger hosts the 6th Poetry Hearings, Berlin's only festival dedicated to English language poetry.

The 2010 line-up features, as ever, a strong and diverse complement of published poets, most of whom will be reading in Berlin for the first time. Friday 5th sees Cornishman Nathan Thompson, ex-merchant seaman Mark Terrill from the US via Hamburg, Prague-based Louis Armand and the UK's Naomi Foyle.

Saturday 6th will comprise Irish Professor of Physics Iggy McGovern, writer and translator Will Stone (Belgium/UK) and, after the break, Siddhartha Bose will present a one-man multimedia show, 'Kalagora' (, based on his upbringing in India and London.

Friday 5th & Saturday 6th November, Kaffee Burger, Torstrasse 58-60, 10119
