Job Overview:
The role of the Junior Export Controller is to provide assistance to the Senior Technical Export Controller at Gronau, to ensure Urenco UTD complies to the required export regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and submit new export license applications (including via ELAN K2) for certain exports of goods and technology by the Urenco Group.
– Ensure Urenco complies to technology export licences, including timely renewal of ECL.
– Maintain and proposes changes to internal export control policies and procedures, including internal processes required to ensure ongoing compliance.
– Report export control related KPI’s to Senior Technical Export Controller.
– Organize and assist in the provision of export control training and advice to (new) employees of UTD Gronau.
Role Requirements:
– Experience in dealing with export licences and regulatory bodies.
– Familiar with export control license applications within Germany is desirable.
– Experience of working within the energy or nuclear sector is desirable.
– Self-motivated and driven to manage and complete assignments.
– Masters the German and English language.
– Understanding of Urenco business.
– Ability to interpret export control lists and licenses.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure against tight deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to communicate confidently within the export control team.
– Ability to provide training to groups on all levels.
– Technical degree or relevant qualifications.
– Security Clearance DV/SC.
