The IT division of Münster University Hospital provides efficient and highly available information technology for 7,000 workstations and over 11,000 employees. By ensuring productive IT operations, the IT Service Desk makes a significant contribution to patient care. For users (gn), the IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for all IT-related questions and messages. The IT Service Desk represents the IT division in its external image and gives IT services a human face and language.

Your area of responsibility

  • You are the first helping hand for the users when it comes to problems and questions around the topic of IT in the UKM
  • You independently find solutions or apply workarounds to quickly provide or restore our IT services
  • Your results and solutions flow into the knowledge base or CMDB
  • This includes receiving, processing, classifying, and responding to requests and incident reports via our IT service management tool
  • The error analysis, qualification and completion of information on faults are also part of your duties and responsibilities in the case of deep issues
  • Software installations you perform through our software distribution, and you contribute through your quality assurance measures there a crucial part of the definition of the IT architecture
